We are promoted by a team of Environmental and Agricultural scientists led by Dr.Joshy V Cherian who is a post Graduate in Botany and PhD in environmental science with rich hands on experience in Biotechnology, Horticulture, Waste Land Development, Solid Waste Management and Organic Agriculture. The Company was incorporated in 1999. The company was initially supported by Technology Development Board of Ministry of Science and Technology, Gov. of India.
The Corporate office is based in Coimbatore and the company has sophisticated manufacturing facilities at Anthiyur near Pollachi and in Coimbatore. The company has developed two patent pending technologies in organic waste management.
The Manufacturing facility at Anthiyur is for the manufacturing of Organic manure and Bioclean,a coir pith based Aerobic composting media. The various types of machines used for processing have sufficient process control and instrumentation. The labor force
numbering around 30 are well trained in different operations right from cleaning of coir pith to final packing.
The Bio-product and waste management equipment manufacturing facility at Saravanampatti, Coimbatore, also has R&D and quality control facilities. A range of organic inputs like Bio-fertilizers, Bio-pesticides, Bio-fungicides etc are manufactured and supplied throughout the country.
Omega Ecotech is offering integrated and customized solution in the field of organic waste management. The organic Home waste management solutions developed by the company is approved by Suchitwa mission a directorate of Kerala Government coordinating all the waste management activities of the state Government.Kerla Government is implementing these solutions by providing 90% subsidy to the beneficiaries.

AGRICULTURAL RESOURCE MAPPING
A detailed natural resource and allied resource mapping is done as a first step. Based on
the resource mapping and understanding of the existing status of the resources a resource
enhancement plan is finalized depending on the requirement of the project.
After the resource mapping and enhancement plan a detailed integrated development
proposal with farming as the core theme is prepared. The socio economic opportunities
will be considered and with approval of the promoter the project will be finalized.
